KT Gallery - Power the Next Big Idea

Concept and Treatment

The idea behind this experience is to have the audience go from pedestal to pedestal looking at a product that KT supported with patent and/or IP work. By displaying the product like artwork in a gallery, the product becomes elevated and appreciated. Once this is absorbed, the audience can then read about the KT case study associated with the piece. In example, if the adidas World Cup soccer ball was on display, the ball would be perched and surrounded by light projected from underneath, within the pedestal. Behind the ball might be a vertical wall that would showcase the patent drawing and describe how KT ushered and protected the patent to market. With this treatment, the case study becomes a real story that can be experienced.

In addition to the various pedestals, there would be colored flood lighting within the space. This will produce a feeling of having taken over a specific space to be lit for the experience. Hence, all the walls would feel treated and therefore feel unified. The lights are digital and could be changed to fit any mood or color sequence.

SET UP AND EVENT USAGE

We would like to set up the gallery idea, the pedestals and signage within KT in Atlanta. This would be a more permanent installation to be experienced by all. It would not be moved. However, it would travel. But how? By virtual reality, that’s how. We would film the exhibit by using a 3D device and then export it into VR. We would then provide VR headsets at all recruiting events. At these events, Law School students and others could put on a pair of VR glasses and walk the exhibit, admiring the products on pedestals and read about the KT impact. Or, instead of reading, we could provide narration of the patent or case study story.

Another option would be a trade show model where we create the experience with portable structures that can be shipped, set-up and broken down on-site.

Permanent Option

Could be set up in a room or in the open within the KT office. This would give visitors and KT alike the opportunity to experience the gallery.

On the Road - VR

The hassle of setting up a complicated experience through exhibit and product set-up, break-down and transport can be overwhelming. So why not create a VR Experience.
