For most of 2015, Player was Sr. Creative Director at The Home Depot, through RRD, where he provided the top senior creative leadership for in-store customer experience across 2,200 retail locations. While providing strategic creative direction, Player launched seasonal promotions, way-finding systems, on shelf promotions, product and category shop-ability communications, and all other in-store communications around a customer’s experience. Working within The Home Depot (THD) offices, Player provided leadership to over 60 creative professionals, collaborated with all of THD’s multiple agencies and reported directly to THD top management. Previous to Player being Sr. Creative Director within The Home Depot, Play produced many engaging consumer and B2B communications for the big box retailer. Below represents the creation of the station identification for HDTV, an in-store feed for both employee and consumer; a looping 10 minute video wall that ran in Manhattan; Trade Show exhibit design showcasing HD contractors and Direct Mail.
